1. Many people are afraid of leaving home because of crime. Some think more action should be taken to prevent crime, but others think little can be done. What is your view?

These days, the number of criminals increased dramatically. Therefore, citizens often scare to hanging out because of theft, street robbery or even shooting. Personally, I think the government should take some actions to solve this issue.

Undoubtedly, there are numerous methods which can be taken to reduce crime rates. Firstly, deterring potential crimes is a suitable way to improve living environment for dwellers. For instance, strict laws or regulations, especially prolonging the term of imprisonment should be imposed, which could be effective methods to preclude criminals like theft or robbery. Secondly, the widening wealth gap could be seen as one culprit. Hence, the government can create more job opportunities for citizens, so they can earn stable income for living. Reduction the number of homeless and unemployed contributes to a decline in the level of social chaos and conflicts.

Moreover, boosting the populatiry of primary schools, secondary education as well as technical schools is an emergency task. In fact, people who live in slums or undeveloped zones with minimum education tend to commit crimes than those with decent education or higher social status. Addtionally, the level of education reflects living condition and publuc security in communities, which is the foundation of civilized society. It is undoubted that when people are satisfiled with their job, company or their salary, they do not need to break the law anyway.

In conclusion, there are more highly valid solutions to solve crime rates or social problems. However, each person and the authority need to cooperate together to get the highest success with effective activities and continuous efforts.
