Are famous people treated unfairly by the media? Should they be given more privacy, or is the price of their fame an invasion into their private lives?

Whether the way media treat to celebrities is unjust or not is controversial. Some people are of the opinion that it is the cost they have to pay to become a superstar in their artistic career, however, I strongly believe that prying into the famous ‘s lives is an invasion to their privacy.

Some opponents say that the price of celebrities' fame is an invasion of their private life. First of all, being circling by journalists every day is a chance for famous people to get more attention. Because this makes sure that their fans and followers will never forget them as they are curious about their famous stars’ lives. Therefore, their album will be sold like hot cakes, followed by a substantial amount of money earned from them. Besides, some famous people regard the invasion of media as a way leading to success and fame, so it is worth living with the trouble of media.

On the other hand, it seems to me that celebrities are treated unfairly by the media as media’s impertinent inquiries about the famous’s life will bring about various disadvantages to their privacy. First of all, every action these people are always noticed by newspapers leading to their inhibited life, which makes them nervous and stressed. More seriously, some who have difficulty in acclimatizing to this lifestyle can be gone down with depression or other mental problems as a result of external pressure. In addition, the media can also let the famous down if their bad news is spread through their fans like wildfire. For example, when they misbehave with someone and be seen by a journalist, they will obviously be heavily criticized by the media as well as their fans.

To sum up, though the invasion of privacy will partly help the famous to make their name, the disadvantages far outweigh its advantages.
