In Many Countries Today There Are Many Highly Qualified Graduates Without Employment. What Factors May Have Caused This Situation And What Can Be Done About It?

A social issue of unemployment now emerged even among the high-caliber job seekers. This phenomenon has raised an urge to find the answers for a reason and a solution.

In some countries, colleges’ curriculums might lack of practical experiences programs. It is acknowledged that beside a high-grade certification, a business’s criteria also require hands-on experience. For example, the education in Vietnam is highly theory-based, making the students in this country extremely adapt to it and gradually become passive. Most of them are not accustomed to the notion of early internship during college years until they have graduated, which contributes to the fact that they only have excellent specialized-knowlege on papers and lack considerable first-hand experience. Therefore, it might be the case that curriculums deprived of practical experience incentives have promoted unemployment.

This problem can be solved by reforming the whole education. For instance, they can demand universities to set up annual interacting/ networking conferences between corporates and students. Those meetings can give the students an opportunity to meet their recruiters, which encourage them to commence their internships while still being an undergraduate. With this approach, the graduates can acquire their needed professional skills to meet the requirements of applicant. Hence, the governments should uphold the practice-integrated program and take such comprehensive, imperative actions to subtitute the former education.

In conclusion, enterprises are not looking for mere outstanding qualifications, but adequate competencies of employees. Thus, students should be fostered to study in an active way to prepare for their advanced career.
