My Essay:

In the last few years, in many countries, the budget of outer space exploration and space technology have increased appreciably. In this regard, Many commentators are of the view that government’s expenditure on space programs should be reduced and instead be allocate on essential public services. I strongly agree with this statement and in this essay I will support y view with examples.

First and foremost, space researches are tremendously complicated and dangerous. During the last century, many astronauts, astronomers, and scientists died due to fatal incidents in shuttles and space stations, or numerus space missions were failed which cost exorbitant. Secondly, cosmos study and research require qualified scientists as well as superb equipment and facilities which come at a huge cost to government. these programmes have become vanity projects for politicians and had no benefit to normal people in our daily lives.

We live in an age that many people squandering earth’s natural resources and yet our plant’s atmosphere is polluted more than ever owing to consuming excessive amount of fossil fuel. Therefor, authorities in each countries can invest more money on environmental protection and teach people how to protect the environment. In addition, all nations must have a good healthcare system which It is not only an ethical and social imperative; it is also a necessary ingredient for the sustainable long-term development of our economies and societies, and training cost for doctors and building new hospitals is much cheaper than training astronaut or building space crafts. Good health improves people's wellbeing.

To conclude, I firmly believe that governments should put money into public services that improve our everyday lives rather than invest in space projects.
