Topic: Many countries use fossil fuels such as coal or oil as the main resources of energy. However, in some countries the use of alternative sources of energy is encouraged. Do you think this is positive or negative development?

Many energy sources are applied in every different country. While, some nations are in favour the use of fossil fuel is an important source, others contend that they should invent alternative energy sources. Although there are some dangers in this new approach, I believe that the benefits outweigh the drawbacks.

On the one hand, there are certainly some negative consequences of increasing reliance on alternative energy sources. Perhaps the main concern is the cost of finding different energies instead of using coal or oil. It costs a fortune whereas many countries are facing the problem of poverty and hunger. The second negative development is that the issue of safety. Nuclear power is criticised for its potential to pose a danger, espeacially harm the health. In Japan, Fukushima nuclear power plaint is an example. Factory was damaged by the earthquake. It results a lot of people who were injured or died.

On the other hand, the use of alternative sources of energy has some benefits in some contents. The key factor is that green power does not harm on environment. As there is not carbon emission, therefore the problem of climate change or air pollution will decresee significantly. I mean green power sources are really eco-friendly. Second, the installtation of renewable sources as wind farms or solar panels plays an important role in the substainable development of nations. It leads the next generations are ensured and developed.

In conclusion, I consider that supporting the use of alternative energy sources is essential in every country, despite the safety concerns and other impacts.
