Please review my Ielts writing task 2!

Topic: In most countries, prison is the most common solution to the problem of criminals. Howerver, a more effective way is to provide better education so that they do ot commit crime. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Dealing with criminal problems, a lot of countries choose to open or expand new prisons. While, prisons are accecpted in lots of nations, I prefer with the idea that providing education is better.

On the one hand, there are a various reason why prisons are not the best way to prevent criminals. Firstly, the conviction of criminals is sometime the way to make criminal rate increase. I mean, people who serve a criminal sentence will often simply return to a life of crime when they are realeased back into society. Secondly, gathering of many offenders poses a danger. Prisonners contact and share knowledge among them in order to commit heavier crimes. For example, some criminals mixed with each others to escape the prison.

On the other hand, I completely agree with policy makers who argue the need for education to tackle criminal behavior. First and foremost, as far as schools are concerned, ethical lession is supported to act as a deterrent and would be one of the most method to enhance criminal rate. Traffic polices, for example, who are invited to take part in these classed can show the consequence of accidents to help students avoid commiting driving offends. Secondly, education plays a pivotal role in the way to benefit criminals have a good chance of rehabilitation. In my country, for instance, criminals participating in craft classes in order to gain qualifications and skills. So they will have a better job to make a fresh start in life and ready to reintegrate back into society.

In conclusion, I strongly believe that education is a better way than imprionment to prevent crime and decrease criminal rate.
