TASK

The line graphs compares the results of researches held every five years from 2000 through 2020, also the predictions by the year 2025 on the migrants from countryside to cities. Those researches were conducted in three nations, which is Russia, Indonesia and Iran.

Overall, the numbers of people moving from rural areas increased considerably in all three countries. Specifically, Iran is expected to witness the highest rise in the migrants over the period of 25 years.

In detail, 33 million people were reported to move to urban areas in 2000 compared to sixfold of that, 190 million in 2020, which is expected to reach over 210 million in 2025. In 2000, nearly 50% of cases of people moving from countryside ( around 15 million) occurred in Russia, while the nation having the least migrants was Iran with about 8 million. Since then, the numbers of migrants in Russia and Iran had levelled off, which were both 80 million in 2020. Over the same period, the migrants in Indonesia rose steadily from 10 in 2000 to 30 million in 2020; this number is expected to remain until 2025. In contrast, the numbers of migrants in Russia and Iran are predicted to increase to about 87 and 95 million respectively by 2025. (210 words)
