The maps show changes in a city in 1950 and now.

The maps illustrate how the layout of a city has changed since 1950.

Overall, the most significant modification is the expansion of the residential area.

The current population of the city is ten times as many as that in 1950, along with the increase in the area of the residential neighborhood. A part of the river in the middle of the city has been turned into a lake. To the south of this lake, another business district has been established, linking to the pre-existing one by an old bridge across the lake. In the same area, the old government building has been reduced in size while a larger one has been constructed in the far south of the city.

Looking to the east of the lake, another bridge has been built, becoming the second path connecting two sides of the city, with more roads have been added linking to this bridge. There has been a construction of a dam to the east of the new bridge, located on the edge of the residential area. Despite no change in the position, the airport's size has increased nearly three-fold.
