The diagrams below show the stages and equipment used in the cement-making process, and how cement is used to produce concrete for building purposes

The two diagrams demonstrate the various steps in producing cement and how to make concrete by using cement.

There are five main stages in the process of cement-making, from raw materials to finished products. The concrete procedure involves four ingredients, namely cement, water, sand and gravel.

The cement-making process commences with crushing limestone and clay into powder. At the next stage, the powder is put in a mixer, following that is going through a rotating heater. After heating, the mixture is ground, and cement is produced subsequently. Finally, cement is packed in bags.

Cement is one of four main ingredients in manufacturing concrete, alongs with water, sand and gravel, which exactly includes 15% cement, 10% water, 25% sand and 50% gravel. Concrete is produced after blending those elements together in a machine called a concrete mixer.
