Please Review My IELTS Writing Task 1- PIE CHART

The pie chart gives information about the result of questionnaires from a nation in Africa in order to know the main purpose of teenagers using their phones in four years 2016,2017,2018 and 2019.

Overall, the vast majority of participants used phones to connect with their social network while phone calls were the least used feature. The proportion of social network users and phone call users experienced an uptrend and a downtrend, respectively.

In 2016, the use of social networks accounted for half of the proportion of four reasons. After dropping slightly to 48% in the next year, this figure rose gradually to 51% and 52% in 2018 and 2019 respectively. Similarly, the digital camera was at 15% in both year 2016 and 2017, then had a marked increase to 18% in 2018 and comprised a fifth of entire reasons in 2019.

An opposite trend can be seen when we look at the use of email and phone calls. Regarding using email, it was reached a quarter of the total percentage in the first year. After that, the figure decreased slightly by 1% in 2017, then dropped significantly to 20% and hit the lowest point at 19% in 2019. It was similar for the phone call, 13% was seen in 2017 that more than 3% in 2016. The figure fell to 11% before and finally dipped to 5%. in the last year.
