Please review my IELTS Writing task 1

Topic: The graph below shows the number of overseas visitors to three different areas in a European country between 1987 and 2007.

The graph indicates the number of international tourists to three different tourist destinations in a European nation from 1987 to 2007.

Overall, there was an increasing number of tourists to the lakes, the coast and the mountains. The coastal region was the most popular tourist destination among three areas.

In 1987, the most famous region for travellers was the coast which attracted nearly 40,000. By contrast, the lakes was the least-tourist attraction, while people spent time on the mountains were twice as much as the lakes. As it is presented that there was an upward trend for the lakes and the mountainous regions in the next 5 years. The number of travellers to the coastal areas saw a slight decline at approximately 35,000 in 1992 before countiously increasing drammatically in the following 10 years.

In the last 5 years, the number of visitors to the lakes reached a peak of over 70,000 in 2002, then declined sharply by the end of the period. On contrary, mountainous areas continued going up considerably and hit the highest point at 75,000. The number of people visiting the coastal regions gradually rose.
