The pie charts give information about the different ways to deal with hazardous waste in the Republic of Korea, Sweden, and the UK.
Overall, recycling, underground, and incineration are three methods applied in each country. Besides, the UK is also the region that has the most various forms to dispose of dangerous waste.
In detail, there are only three ways for treating dangerous waste in South Korea and Sweden. South Korea mainly handles garbage by recycling (69%) while underground accounts for the vast majority by more than half of disposal ways in Sweden (55%). Using fire to destroy waste is less prioritized in both nations. In The UK, however, the opposite trend can be seen. Underground is the main method which accounts for a massive 82%, whereas recycling and incineration are almost rare and unused. Instead of these two methods, chemical treatment and dumping the trash into the ocean account for 16% in total, and this number is divided equally into both of them.
