The chart shows the percentage of women and men in one Asian country who passed when they took their driving test between 1980 and 2010.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The bar chart compares the proportion of both genders in an Asian country in terms of passing driving tests from 1980 to 2010.

It is clear that the percentage of women who got driving licenses were always higher than men over the period shown. Besides, the year 2000 witnessed large changes in the proportion of two kinds of gender.

In 1980, there were nearly 50% of women passed the driving test, getting a ratio of 5:3 with the figure for men in this country which was only roughly 30%. Over the ten-year period, the passed women went up by slightly around 5% while a double increase in the side gender.

In 2000, the percentage of women and men who passed their driving test had changed. In this year, the proportion of women hit a peak of marginally below 70% then it fell minimally and got 65% at the end of years. Meanwhile, the percentage of passed men was close to 50%, and this figure was unchanged ten years later.
