Please review my IELTS writing task 1

The diagram below shows the manufacturing process for making sugar from sugar canes.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.


The diagram depicts a procedure of sugar generation using sugar canes as the starting material. Overall, the process consists of seven stages in depth.
Commencing the manufacturing process is that sugar canes are cultivated during a period from 12 to 18 months until they are ripe in a substantial number. A mass quantity of them is then harvested by farmers, and ready for production progress. A specific machine is involved to crush sugar canes into juice which is next purified by a limestone filter. Following on from this, the purified juice transforms into the form of syrup through the stage of thermal evaporation in a condition requiring high temperature. Subsequently, the step of isolation is carried out through the operation of the centrifuge in which sugar is crystallized from the syrup. The obtained crude sugar is dried and cooled to afford sugar with high purity, finally. Sugar now is available to distribute to the market.
