The bar chart and table compare the export value of five different industries in a nation from 2015 to 2016.
It is clear that the export values in most categories witnessed an upward trend over the given period, except for Gems and jewelry. In addition, earnings gained from the export of petroleum and engineered goods were higher than other products.
In terms of petroleum products, the export value increased moderately, from just 60 billion dollars to approximately 63 billion and a three percent proliferate. Additionally, exports of engineer goods also grew by 8,5 percent.
The remaining categories recorded lower export earnings. Gems and jewelry earnings dropped significantly by 5,18 percent, from about 43 billion dollars in 2015 to just about 41 billion dollars in 2016. By contrast, the export earning of textiles turnover increased sharply to more than 30 billion dollars in 2016 with a 15,24 percent increase, while the figure for agricultural products was relatively steady, fluctuating at about 30 billion dollars.
