Topic: It is suggested that all the young adults should undertake a period of unpaid work helping people in the community. Does it bring more benefits or drawbacks to the community and the young people?

In this day and age, many people have different views on whether or not to believe in the benefits of doing unpaid work that assists people in the community. Despite the fact that there are numerous weaknesses, I would concur that these are exceeded by benefits.

On one side of the argument, there are many drawbacks associated with this work. It is no doubt that these activities will make the youth drained as it requires their physical health to plant trees and cut down numerous branches or clean all the yard, build houses, roads and so on. Moreover, it also influences the adolescent's time. In other words, the youngsters spend more time partaking in volunteering rather than pursuing a career path; therefore, they drop in school performance.

Despite the many disadvantages above, these community events are considered as a two-way benefit. On the one hand, it causes society to thrive in light of the fact that such countless passionate youngsters are always ready to assist development with turning out to be. On the other, there are several benefits for students who participate in community activities. It is said that youngsters today will be leaders or innovators tomorrow, so by participating in activities helping the disabled or the elder to move forward, the youths will figure out how to proceed onward at whatever point they get lost or discouraged in their lives. Moreover, the youth also know what true empathy is, so they can behave sensitively with other people or have enough sympathy with appropriate choices. Besides, by doing this work, the youth can gain hands-on experiences such as planting trees, teaching orphaned children and so fourth without paying, which partly may support teenagers' future professions and occupations.

To sum up, doing these exercises appears to give young people down to earth benefits supporting their lives and I believe the youth can gain benefits that are greater than drawbacks in doing unpaid community work.
