It is true that the question of schools should award pupils who have best achievement on their study or pupils who show improvements remains the source of controversy. While some people believe that should reward student who have high marks, I think student who show improvemrnts should be rewarded.
On the one hand, there are variety of reason why schools should reward students who show the best academic results. Firstly, pupils can draw their inspration and get more motivation. For example, if educators have a schoolarship for excellent students this rewarding perk will encourage them to try hard and enhance the level of study performance. Secondly, this prize is also a recognization to student who have a special ability in different fields. As a result, schools can find a lot of gifted student and give them more opportunities to nuture their skills.
On the other hand, it seems to me that educators should reward students who show developments because of some undeniable advantages. First of all, it will give every student equall chances to win the prize. For instant, students will not want to give up when competing with their top classmate. Furthermore, if result isn’t the most important thing student will learn with enjoyment. As a consequence, students won’t cheat to score higher marks.
