Some people think it is better to enjoy spending their money as soon as they earn it while some others think they must save it to enjoy in the future. State your opinion by giving suitable reasons and examples.

Some believe that the present is best time for enjoyment, so they spend their earnings in the present. Some others save their earnings to enjoy life in the future. I agree with the former because one cannot enjoy in future as much as one can in the present and future is totally unpredictable.

People believe that life should be enjoyed in the present. They are aware that in the old age they are not as energetic and fit as they are in the young age. Some of the most enjoyable experiences in life involves travelling to distant places or taking part in adventurous activities, which generally requires us to be young and healthy. For example, a person in India can feel much more comfortable travelling to Switzerland or doing paragliding or bungee jumping when he is in thirties than in sixties.

Those who want to enjoy life by spending their earnings in the present believe life is unpredictable. So, they do not miss any opportunity in the present that can give happiness and fond memories to themselves and their family. All through the history of humankind there have been many sudden unexpected events that have changed the course of life in varying degrees. The tsunami tragedy in India and Sri Lanka in 2000 and the most recent COVID outbreak are two such catastrophic events.

In conclusion, people prefer to celebrate life by spending their earnings in the present instead of saving them to enjoy in the future because they think life should be enjoyed when their young and strong. Also, as life never reveals what lies ahead, people fear they may never get opportunities to enjoy in future.
