Please review my IELTS task 2 essay

Topic: Some people believe that reading stories from a book is better than watching TV or playing computer games for children. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Many people argue that reading stories brings more benefits to children development in comparison to watching television or playing computer. Personally, I completely agree with this view.

There are several undeniable advantages of reading stories from books in differential aspects. Firstly, regular habit of reading bedtime stories helps to strengthen the family bond. Obviously, spending time together with books is an ideal way for sharing and expressing love. Secondly, books stimulate youngster’s imagination, which develops their dreams as well as creates ambitions. Moreover, children who often reading books will enhance not only reading skills but also writing and presentation ability. For instance, a boy can imitate the way of expression in famous stories to his writing essays or speech, which can be considered as an attractive way to study.

On the other hand, watching television or playing computer games carries potential drawbacks to children’s growth. One fact to consider is that children nowadays may glue their eyes on computer games screen for hours, which is detrimental to their eyes. Moreover, they are prone to be obesity because of sedentary lifestyle. Furthermore, computer games and televisions discourage physical interaction, which is the reason why many children would like to stay alone and hesitate to express their ideas with other. In some special cases, medical centers have to offer emotional support to youngsters who addicted extremely to computer games.

In conclusion, for the reasons I have mentioned above, I strongly believe that children should be encouraged to read books instead of wasting time for TV or computer games.
