The bar chart below describes some changes about the percentage of people were born in Australia and who were born outside Australia living in urban, rural and town between 1995 and 2010.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

You should write at least 150 words.

Answer

The graph aims to illustrate some differences of the percentage of people who were born in Australia and outside Australia living in cities, rural and town in two years 1995 and 2010.

It is clear that the proportion of people born in Australia and outside living in cities was highest in the period shown. There are big changes about the number of people born in and outside Australia that are living in towns and rural areas from 1995 to 2010.

Looking at the bar chart, with regards to the amount of people living in urban ,the percentage of residents both in and outside the country reaches the highest point either in 1995 or 2010. The number of people living in urban increases about 20% in the period of fifteen years.

In 1995, regarding of residents born and living in towns and rural areas,the number of people living in towns was lower than those who lived in rural areas. Similarly, in 2010, the percentage of residents living in towns is decreased ( under 20% ). The same figure is true to the people who lived in rural areas.
