Below is a map of the city of Brandfield. City planners have decided to build a new shopping mall for the area, and two sites, S1 and S2 have been proposed. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

The authorities are considering two possible sites, S1 and S2, for a new shopping mall to be built in Brandfield, serving the residents in the city. The map shows the proposed locations.

Overall, Brandfield is a complex city, being the location of an industrial zone to the East as well as Golf course and park area to the West. The city traffic is convenient, with a main road and a railway crossing Brandfield. While the projected site S1 is situated near the housing estate, S2 is in border area near the industrial zone.

Site S1 is centrally located, which is directly accessible for residents from living area. However, it is likely to experience traffic congestion because S1 stands not only in the crowded area but also among the river, road and railway. By contrast, S2 is far from residential area, standing near the Southeast edge. It will be take more time for people from living area to go there by train or car but there is less traffic here. Both locations are traffic convenient because an existing road and railway line already pass near the planned locations
