Describe a pie chart
The two pie charts compare percentages of male and female students enroll in various fields of study at Clydesdale University.
Overall, the most popular field of study for men is engineering, and the least is humanities. In contrast, women prefer education the most, and the least one is social sciences.
The proportion of men’s enrollment in engineering is the highest, follow by social sciences (25%) and education (20%). The least popular field of study is humanities; only 10% of men choose this field of study.
By contrast, women’s most popular field of study at Clydesdale is education, with 35% choosing to study this field. The second most popular is humanities, with 30% of women enrolled. This five percentage point difference between the top two popular fields is much smaller than the difference between men’s top two fields. The least popular field for women is social sciences, with just 5% enrollment.
