Topic: The maps show the town of Gotham in 1995 and present. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.My essay:The diagrams illustrate some alterations to the town of Gotham from 1995 to present.Overall, the town have been modernized substantially to meet its increasing population and recreational activity demands. The majority changes were the construction of residences, sport avenues and other developments regarding to hotel, restaurant and car park.Looking at the map of Gotham as it was in 1995, we can see that a large area of the public park was in the East of the town. The current map shows it has been constructed to make place for holiday homes. Accompanying with these changes, the housing area in the north-western part has been expanded and the fish market along the coast also has been removed to build six apartments. Furthermore, the farm land in the north-east of the town has been cleared to built golf course, tennis course and planted trees.The sport centers have been reconstructed to open the restaurant chain, and the hotels opposing those centers have been upgraded in high dimension to have more accommodations. Also, the car park has been built in the south-east of the town. The dock has been removed, therefore there are many yachts going fishing in the sea instead of the morning fish boats.

Overall, the town have been modernized substantially to meet its increasing population and recreational activity demands. (That is a conclusion or interpretation. Do not put such things in Task 1.) The major ~~majority~~ changes were the construction of residences, sport avenues and other developments such as a ~~regarding to~~ hotel, restaurant and car park.

Looking at the map of Gotham as it was in 1995, we can see that a large area of the public park was in the East of the town. The current map shows it has been constructed to make place for holiday homes. Accompanying with these changes, the housing area in the north-western part has been expanded and the fish market along the coast also has been removed to build six apartments. Furthermore, the farm land in the north-east of the town has been cleared to built a golf course, tennis course and planted trees.

The two maps, 1995 and present day, illustrate the many changes that have been made to the town of Gotham.

Overall, there is more housing for residents and several new facilities for visitors. Nearby farmland and public parks have been converted to developed areas and the fishing infrastructure (fishing pier and fish market) has been replaced by a yacht basin. The primary roads have not changed.

In particular, holiday houses have been built on land that was a public park in 1995. The two hotels located at the town's center have been enlarged. The farmland to the northeast of the center now has tennis courts and a golf course. The fish market on the south shore is gone, replaced by apartment complexes. Yachts are now anchored offshore where the fishing boats used to be moored. There is also a new car park west of the hotels and a restaurant across the main intersection from the hotels. The main things that still remain are the coffee house and the housing area west of the center, although the later has been expanded with new homes.
