Task 1: The diagrams illustrate the design of the single room and the double room study area.

My essay:

The map shows the layout of the single room and the double room with study facilities.

Overall, the double room is bigger than the single room with having more cub – board, study desk, bed, and especial windows which do not have in the single room. Of course, the double room’s cost is more expensive than the single room.

Both rooms are 6m wide, the double room has a length of 4m, compared with just 2.5m for the single room. While the single room costs $200 per week, the double room is higher at $350 per week.

In the single room, two bookshelves are put between bathroom and kitchen which stand on the left side of the wall, while in the double room, one bookshelf lies next to the bathroom and the other is sited the central room. Both kitchens have stoves, sink, and microwave. On the opposite wall, there are two beds, each bed has a window, compared with just one bed for the single room.

In the center of the single room, there is only a cub – board put on between study desk and TV. In contrast, there are two cub – boards, a TV and an extra table in the middle of the double room, which has two study desks on the other walls.
