The diagrams show how West Park Secondary School changed in three stages: 1950, 1980, and 2010.

Overall, the main changes that took place at West Park Secondary School were the replacements of a housing area and farmland by a car park and a science block. There was also the addition of a sports field.

In 1950, West Park Secondary School was built close to a main road and next to a number of houses. There was a playground built behind the school and next to farmland.

Over the next 30 years, the housing area was replaced by a car park and a science block which was an additional school building. A sports field was constructed taking the place of the farmland.

In 2010, the school building was still in its old place, while the car park was expanded. In addition, the playground was reduced in size. The sports field was redesigned between the cark and the playground.
