This pie chart compares the proportion of three different kinds of energy required in the electricity generating process in India, Sweden, Morocco, Vietnam during a five-year-period, commencing from 2003 to 2008.
Overall, fossil fuel and hydro power were the largest electricity sources in four countries. Nuclear power was used the least, the majority were in Sweden and appeared to be a low figure in the total amount of India.
To begin with, the percentage of fossil fuel in India was 82% of the entire quantity of electricity produced, which also was the highest share among four nations. In addition, the proportion of this electricity source occupied almost a half of Vietnam's total production. On the contrary, it was produced in a small fraction in Sweden together with Morocco, with 4% and 5% respectively.
Moreover, the figure of electricity made by hydro power in Morocco mostly constituted all the energy in this country while the hydro power electricity of the other nations was produced with an average level.
The most striking point is that nuclear power was not common in Vietnam, India and Morocco. Except for 4% of the India total amount, Morocco and Vietnam had not applied nuclear power in generating electricity. On the other hand, nuclear power contributed 44% of Sweden's sources of energy used to make electricity.
