Please help me to review below essay. Thank you so much in advance!
Topic:
Today more and more tourists are visiting places where conditions are difficult, such as the Sahara desert or the Antarctica. In your opinion, do the benefits for tourists who visit such places outweigh the disadvantages?
My essay:
A number of tourists tend to travel to places that have extreme conditions such as the Sahara desert or Antarctica. While I accept that visitors may face a deal of risks, I strongly believe that the benefits of these trips are greater.
On the one hand, there are several reasons why traveling to regions with extreme conditions might entail a multitude of risks. First, people going backpacking are likely to get lost in strange and dangerous lands. It would be difficult to use the navigation system of mobile devices to locate and determine the direction accurately due to the lack of connection to the cellular network in isolated places. Second, extreme conditions of weather might enormously influence on participants in their adventurous journeys. For example, tourists can face a risk of injuries as they try to overcome sandstorms in deserts or endure the icy cold in the polar regions.
However, extreme tourism offers more advantages than problems it causes for tourists. One of the most striking benefits of adventure travel is a great exercise to improve physical and metal health of them. In other words, participants could be enhanced strength and refreshing if they complete taxing exercises, which are swimming, hiking, and climbing, to explore new locations that it is pristine. Furthermore, going on an extreme travel trip not only helps participants to discover themselves, but also create a sense of accomplishment for them. Conquering the top of a mountain or walking across a desert, for instance, make them feel more self-confident about their abilities that they did not realize previously.
In conclusion, it seems to me that tourists gain more than they lose from traveling to places with extreme conditions.
