Please review my IELTS essay Task 2

Topic:

Rich countries often give money to poorer countries, but it does not solve poverty. Therefore, developed countries should give other types of help to poor countries rather than financial aid.

To what extent do you agree or disagree?

My essay:

In this day and age, whereas there exists a tendency of the wealthy nations providing the poor with money, the poverty issue remains unsolved. Hence, apart from financial support, developed nations should supply help in other alternatives. In my opinion, I agree with the statement due to the underdevelopment of the under-developed countries and present some solutions related to overall training and international trade market.

To begin with, although money provision seems the most practical way to aid the poor, it has gone down to waste regarding the underdevelopment. First and foremost, the natives lack the basic knowledge of how to make use of these money to support their life apart from satisfying the ongoing hunger and thirst for medicines. Secondly, these nations have insufficient technologies and facilities, both in the number and quality which means the people fall short of the equipment to push further improvements. As a result, all the finance offered is spent on temporary purposes without an outlook for the future and the suffering of poverty will reappear in the long run.

However, rather than focusing on supplying poor countries with countries, Training Courses is another practical solution that demands more attention. Considering the special culture or geography of a certain nation, the natives should be taught how to tap into these strengths to make a stable living. Moreover, not only should the developed provide cutting-edge technology and facilities, they hold the responsibility to educate these people on manual instruction and hand out real life experience. Another solution worth mentioning is the opening of the international trade market. Regarding this aspect, the developed country should offer more preferentials which promote better relationships, a smaller export tax is testament to this.

In conclusion, with regard to the underdevelopment of poor nations, financial aid proves impractical in erasing poverty. Depending on the degree of impact, Training Course and A preferential International market bring about more realistic benefits.
