The tables compare the temperatures and the length of daytime in two cities: Mumbai, India and Moscow, Russia. The data was recorded in the same period in May 2007.

Overall, the temperatures in Mumbai were much higher than that in Moscow. However, despite the lower temperatures, people in Moscow enjoyed more sunlight than those who lived in Mumbai.

The temperatures in Mumbai were stable with the lowest temperatures showed were the same at 290C and the highest ones were 330C or 340C depending on the day. In contrast, the temperatures in Moscow more fluctuated, ranging from 20C to 130C.

The sun rose at exact 6:00 in Mumbai and set at 19:05 or 19:15. Whereas Mumbai inhabitants only had 13 hours of daylight, Moscow dwellers had 18 hours, five more hours of sunlight a day. The sun rose at around 4:05 – 4:15 in the city of Russia and set at the same time every day at 22:00.
