The given graph reveals the proportion of two genders who finished their driving tests in an Asian nation from 1980 to 2010, measured in per cent. In general, it can be seen from the chart; there is a significant increase and the figures for women were always higher than men throughout the period; particularly, the percentage of women who passed their driving tests got the highest value in 2000, almost 70%.
In 1980, the percentage of women and men who passed driving tests were low, over 50% for women and the percentage of men only equalled half of the figures for women. After the period of 20 years, the rates of women rose rapidly to over 70%, besides men got almost 50% of driving tests passed. At the end of the period, figures for men also maintained over 50%, and the percentage of women decreased lightly from over 70% to above 60%, almost 10% in the gap.
