The bar graph compares the total amount of minutes of telephone calls used by UK people through three different types between 1995 and 2002.

It is noticeable that local-fixed line ‘s minutes were highest during the research period. Additionally, the figure for minutes were spent on mobiles was lowest between these years.

In 1995, more than 70 billions minutes were spent on local-fixed line while national and international –fixed line ‘s time was only about haft of it. Approximately 5 billions minutes were used for mobiles. Time spent on local-fixed line reached a peak of 90 billions minute in 1999 then it decreased gradually to about 70 billions in 2002.

Both time spent on national and international-fixed line and time spent on mobiles witnessed an upward trend. There was a slightly increase in national and international-fixed line from nearly 40 billions minutes in 1995 to about 60 billions in 2002. In addition, the amount of times used for moblies rose dramatically from approximately 5 billions to about 45 billions minutes in the same period.
