Please review my IELTS essay for task 1

Topic:

The line graphs show wheat exports in Australia, Canada and European Community

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make

comparisons where relevant.

My essay:

The given graph illustrates how wheat exports in Australia, Canada and European Community changed from 1985 to 1990.

Overall, while the quantity of wheat that Canada exported had a significant fluctuation over the period shown, the amount of wheat exported from Australia and European Community witnessed an opposite trend to each other.

In 1985, Australia exported 15 tons of wheat, the figure for European Community was slightly higher, at about 17 tons. Over the following five years, despite having a growth of 2 tons in 1986, wheat exports in Australia fell sharply to 11 tons in 1989, and remained stable until the end of the period. Wheat exported from European Community, on the other hand, rose markedly to 21 tons in 1990, after having a drop of 3 tons in 1986, then increased moderately to 15 tons, and stayed stable for the next two years.

Furthermore, wheat exports in Canada was highest in 1985, at about 19 tons. This figure, then declined to about 7 tons one year later, reached its peak at 25 tons in 1988, decreased dramatically to about 14 tons before going back up to about 19 tons again in 1990.
