Topic: Because of technological advancements, many people's interactions have shifted. What impact has technology had on how people form relationships? Do you think this is a good or bad thing?

In modern society, interaction among some individuals has taken another turn due to recent developments in technology. Although development can help individuals attract each other through social media, sometimes people should be considered a negative trend.

Technological development in communication technology has affected the kinds of relationships built by people anyway. For example, many people use social media, like Facebook, to make friends and find people who share common interests in videos, or posts. Furthermore, services like Discord create newly available relationships for individuals around the world. For instance, many people can connect to games, stream, and interact through their devices rather than face-to-face.

On the other hand, I am in favor of that the positive aspects of this trend are eclipsed by more negative features. To begin with, many of our relationships have become superficial. Their devices, owned by one person, allow them to communicate with each other using the Internet. We do not have to speak eye-to-eye with each other. The relationship we have with our friends on Facebook, for instance, is not a relative or strong one, because we often know person and consider them. Furthermore, development led to a lot of international relationships. Many young choose to make friends online over the world, they will not know who is good or bad friends, these are just ‘virtual’ relationships.

In conclusion, technology can be extremely positive for communication between people, but not all of the outcomes of this progress have been positive.
