topic: space exploration costs tax payers' an exorbitant amount of money each year. what are the advantages and disadvantages of spending money on space exploration.

It is unanimously agreed that a prohibitive spendings is paid for space reseach every year by taxpayers. While i acknowledge the benefits of this phenomenon, they are outweighed by its problems.

The advantages of prohibitively spending on galactic discovery are in deed in a plain sight. Firstly, space discovery allows people to prepare for potential hazards from universe. For instance, through space research, scientist may be able to detect a metiorite that is on collision with the earth. In addition, people concerning about the problems of overpopulation can be curbed by finding alternative places of living. However the aforementioned would be long term goals and not feasible in the near future.

Despite the positives mentioned above, the negative ramifications of tax overspending on planetary discovery are far more significant. Since hardly can anything guarantee that space missions can deliver efficacious results, many people think that it is a waste of time and money to invest in such abstract efforts. Moreover, there are many other social issues that need catering for: poverty. It is true that a better capital allocation to education system can act as a precursor to fostering economic growth. This can be the optimal way to address such social problem which cannot be tackled only by planetary exploration.

In conclusion, investing a large money on space discovery might be beneficial, for example in the form of predicting space disasters and providing another living environment. However, it is not viable in the upcoming time and there are other sectors deserved greater investment.
