Please review my IELTS essay

Topic: Although more and more people read the news on internet, newspaper will remain the most important source of news for the majority of people. Do you agree or disagree?

My essay:

News on the internet is becoming more widespread to the public nowadays, but some people still believe that newspapers will continually be the most crucial source of news. To my mind, I don’t agree with this statement because both online news and conventional newspapers are equally important.
Online news has some strong points. First, it is a convenient source that provides citizens unlimited access, especially during the covid-19 pandemic, it allows people to approach the world’s situation without going outside. Second, online news is updated quickly, so using it is the most efficient way to catch up with the latest news and events that happened in daily life. Despite the disadvantages, it still has some drawbacks. Inauthenticity can be a big problem because the internet has so many sources of news that are formed by different people. That’s why some articles’ contents are distorted to cause controversy among the community and become famous.
On the other hand, first, while online news is tricky to reach in rural areas, newspapers can be more feasible. Especially, some people who are digital immigrants will find that reading paper news is more convenient. Second, the newspaper is the most authentic resource for the government to public important news, announcements, or decisions for it can be ensured about the reliability of the contents. On the contrary with the updating speed of news on the internet, newspapers are slower because it takes a long time to compile until it’s completely ready to be printed and delivered to the residents.
To summarize, I still disapprove of the idea because both online news and newspaper have pros and cons and online news will soon be as crucial as newspapers.
