Many automobile manufactures created self-driving systems for their vehicles.

Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of releasing cars with these systems.

It is a common belief that self-driving system is not totally a beneficial invention that automobile companies should not develop its productions. However, there is a more persuasive argument that it would be very useful from many aspects if it is operated in a smooth way.

On the one hand, automobile vehicles with non-driver are likely to cause traffic problems more frequently. This may be because the alternative programs operating the system cannot work as accurately as humans. In some special cases, they cannot identify the actual situations to give the right response, leading to serious mistakes. For example, there were some traffic accidents recorded to be caused by self-driving vehicles. Although these problems had small consequences and seldom happened, they caused a sizable decrease of reliance of drivers all over the world.

On the other hand, people would benefit highly with support from the self-driving system. More specifically, instead of controlling the car for a long distance in a long time, drivers can concentrate on others significant tasks. Therefore, while travelling, they still can finish their works with the same productivity. For instance, a survey carried out showed that the majority of attendances highly appreciated this new type of vehicle. They assumed that it would let them freely commit their time in order not to stay in busy state like before.

To sum up, while there can be some drawbacks of manufacturing automobile vehicles with self-driving systems, it is apparent that releasing cars with these modern models also bring about great advantages which certainly outweigh the bad points.
