People are spending more on travel today than in the past.

Do the advantages of this outweigh the disadvantages?

It is a common belief that the increased expenditure on travel in recent years is a good thing. However, there is a more persuasive argument that this trend can be a negative effect as it makes people unprepared in some emergency situations.

On the one hand, investing money in travelling tours is a great way for individuals to recharge themselves. In fact, travel is beneficial as people can entirely appreciate their wonderful journeys and easily eliminate all of the tensions of their daily lives which come from working or studying. For instance, a survey carried out in Vietnam showed that the majority of official workers chose to have an ideal vacation on holidays, instead of working extra hours. They assumed that while enjoying the travels, they had nothing to be worried about, moreover, committed more time to taking care of themselves.

On the other hand, it is much more reasonable to saving money for some unanticipated cases than for those luxurious tours. If a person spends all the money on travel and have no personal earnings, they usually have to face up to more financial hardships, especially when something goes wrong. In fact, most of surgical procedures cost hundreds of even thousands of dollars. With people who do not have a large amount of saving money, these treatments seem to be more expensive that some people even sacrifice any assess they have or take unfavorable loans to afford these cares. As much, it is significant to prioritize to earn a sizable amount of money for some emergency situations over having unlimited travelling.

All thing considered, while there are some advantages of increased expenditure on tourism, it is apparent that the disadvantages of this trend outweigh them.
