Please review my IELTS essay

Governments should spend money on railways rather than roads. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

I agree with the idea that governments should spend more money on railways.

One of the most important values for every country is the transportation system because going to another city or country in the fastest way is really necessary for workers. In big cities, many people come from small cities to wot=rk there or study. So they need a fast, cheap, comfortable way to go to their office on time. When the railways are broken or damaged, the trains will delay or stop suddenly actually sometimes it causes accidents, and it may heart people. In other words, if railways have a problem, it will waste your time. I just talked about workers, but there are lots of people that use trains and railways should be fixed to make them happy. Nowadays people prefer to travel by train because it's cheaper than the plane and it's more comfortable and faster than buses. If the railways are not good, the speed of trains will reduce, and they do not choose trains. Another use of subway and railways are local transportation. Because of air pollution and traffic, the government should encourage people to use the subway. The most important thing about the subway is speed and being on time. A broken railway will not be the citizen's choice.

In conclusion, it is the government's duty to prepare good transportation without any pollution. Spending money on railways is essential for society to save their time, be satisfied with the speed, and be comfortable.
