Please review my IELTS essay

The world becoming more and more modern leads to the environment continuing to be seriously polluted. There are some people who claim that international car- free days help to reduce air pollution effectively whereas others think there are other ways. I will discuss both views below.

On the one hand, the appearance of car-free days every year will have many huge benefits for the environment. Firstly a large amount of toxic gas from cars can reduce to limit air pollution; and, this action will maintain regularly throughout years under observing strictly from government. Besides ,these are the international days which remind everybody to join their hands to save the air from pollution.

On the other hand, there are many methods to help save the air instead of international car-free days. People can plant trees to produce more oxygen to help clean up the atmosphere or they can also use public transport like the bus or subway to go to school or work. Moreover, the government needs to have many useful policies to encourage and propagate people to reduce air pollution. On top of that, the most important factor to save our planet from air pollution is human's awareness. Only when there is a right view and action from everyone, the air will be cleaner than before.

In my opinion, both of the above statements about international car- free days or other ways still tend to improve the atmosphere for the better, as long as they are implemented under the right circumstances. Therefore, we should work together to reduce air pollution by all means, even from the simplest behavior.
