Some people believe that kids who have luxurious life will attain more success in academics than those who do not. In my opinion, I agree with this view.
On the one hand, it is argued that children from affluent families have a tendency to do better at school. They have enough money to purchase necessary study equipment to facilitate their study. They can also get a tutor to learn more and have a deeper understanding of the lessons. For examples, when having difficult exercises or a question that they don’t know, well-off kids can use computer and search for the answers or get responses from their tutors, whilst poor children, need to wait to ask their teacher, which slow down their learning progress.
On the other hand, children from opulent families have capable of studying in excellent educational environment. They can have higher accessibility to elite school in the country as well as abroad. As a result, the opportunity to advancing their level of education are much greater than those from poor background. Moreover, prestigious school always offer great learning curriculum which provide them with well-educated teachers, quality facilities, good learning experience. Therefore it will help them have better outcome when graduate. This can not be found in disadvantaged families, where their children all attend regular schools and sometimes tuition there can already be a big problem for them.
In conclusion, I still reckon that children of high-income families can achieve more accomplishments at school than those with poor families.
