In detail, the process starts with people saving and taking empty plastic products to a collection bin. After the bin has a lot of plastic bottles, it is emptied and the bottles are taken to a recycling centre. In step 3, the bottles are sorted by hand; the one that is not accepted by the centre is discarded. Fourth, the bottles are compressed into blocks of plastics, and in step 5, the blocks are crushed into flakes and washed thoroughly in water. Then the flakes go through a mill, creating plastic pellets. That ends the sixth step. The pellets are melted, and the liquid is cooled and processed into raw material. Step 8 involves packaging the raw material, which in step 9, can be used for producing new products, such as containers, clothing and pencil. Consumers will purchase these items, and the recycling starts again.
