The line graph plots in dollars the income trends of four cafes: Tea Room, Internet Express, Wifi Cafe and Cafe Cool in New York over 12 months last year.

Overall, there was a drop in the income of Tea Room, while the reserve was true for Internet Express, Wifi Cafe and Cafe Cool as these three coffee shops’ income picked up.

The earnings for Tea Room, were down over the year, falling significantly from almost $160,000 earnings a month to just under $50,000 in December. By contrast, the income for the other three cafes went up by varying degrees. There was a rise in Cafe Cool’s income over the first ten months, followed by a sudden increase from about $30,000 to $120,000. Furthermore, the income for both Internet Express and the Wifi Cafe also ended the year up in December. The former had a remarkable fall to June, but after that, income jumped steadily ending the year at approximately $130,000. Likewise, the trend for Wifi was upward. Between January and July, earnings doubled from $50,000 to nearly $100,000 and then increased to a peak of around $190,000.
