The diagram below shows the life cycle of the honey bee.

Write a report for a university, lecturer describing the information shown below.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

The diagram depicts various stages in the development of a honey bee.

At the first stage in the life cycle, the females lay about 1 to 2 eggs in 3 days in the hive to protect the eggs from damage. At this point, they will wait for the eggs to hatch in 9 to 10 days after being laid by the queen. After this, in the first 5 days, a newborn bee finally tears the top of the egg out starting to form like a bee itself. In the next stage, after 7 days of hatching, it starts to become much bigger but hasn't developed the wings yet.

At the following stage in the life cycle, the nymph molts 3 times as it grows up and they expand their body as well as the 6 legs only 9 days after it grows bigger. And then it begins to keep developing itself till becoming a grown-up. Finally, there are four days remaining to really become a mature bee and then mate with another male bee, and the life cycle starts again.
