Topic: Summerise the information in the graph

My essay:

The graph shows the proportion of mobile phones owned by people in six countries in European Union over a period of 5 years, 2000 and 2005. The information was measured by millions. As is shown in the chart, the ownership of mobile phone in six countries shows an upward trend between 2000 and 2005.

It is noticeable that Germany had the most mobile phone users in 2005, whilst at the beginning of the preference period, UK, Germany and Italy stood at the same level of 4 millions hand phone owners. However, these three countries, in 2005, had nothing in common. In Germany, the number of mobile phone owners grew dramatically to 14 million - a rise of more than 300%, whereas in the UK it was 12 millions and 10 millions in Italy.

A closer look to the data in other countries, the smallest growth in mobile phone ownership was Spain. Although the trend of all countries is upwards, the total sum in 2005 of Spain was much smaller than the other countries, reaching the rate of approximately 6 millions. Sweden and France also rose lightly over the 5-year period, with 8 millions and 7 millions respectively.
