Task 2: Some people say that modern technology has made shopping today easier while others disagree. Discuss both views and give your opinion

It is a common belief that shopping online is more inconvenient due to the impact of modern technology. However, there is a more persuasive argument that the development of technology brings enormous benefits to shopping and I am in favor of the latter point.

On the one hand, products on shopping websites are unreliable. This is because customers only see the images of products and they are difficult to know that whether the quality of these products is good or not. Moreover, these days, there are many advertising products which make the commodities from low-quality to advanced. Therefore, many people can get products that they do not want. For example, clothes which unlike their description on websites that high-quality, people can be trapped when they buy online these things so that they will waste an amount of money on those.

On the other hand, in a high-tech society nowadays, people can easily buy online many kinds of products at home. In modern times, there are many shopping websites which offer a variety of commodities to people to choose from and with a click they can buy anything they want without having an arrival at stores. This can help people to reduce a significant time of shopping for people. For instance, when a person wants to buy clothes, all he has to do is access a website and order the costume that he likes. This activity is time-saving compared to going shopping in the past.

To sum up, while there are some disadvantages of shopping online, it is undeniable that modern technology influences shopping positively
