Some people fail in school, but end up being successful in life.
Why do you think that is the case?
What does one need to have to succeed in life?
There exists cases that several people are failures at school, but they become their mirror images in life. In my opinion, this situation can be attributed to the inability to adapt to the learning environment and the inherent adaptation to real-life settings. And in order to succeed in life, one needs to possess two praiseworthy virtues which are self-reliance and determination.
There would be two primary causes of the situation that some people become successful while being failures at school. First, some may have a hard job adapting to the academia. Indeed, some students may feel suffocated in academic settings as there are too many rules to abide by and appropriate behaviours used when communicating with teachers to learn. Second, many people have an inborn ability to adapt to and be sensible in life. Such people usually have effective communication skills and useful social skills, which are nowadays more important than academic knowledge.
So as to succeed in life, I believe that one may have to be both self-reliant and determined. Being self-reliant can help people solve their problems in the absence of others' help. That may give them real experience and various opportunities to expose to novel matters, thereby making people accustomed to addressing challenging problems. Also, people need to have a seemingly innate refusal to allow obstacles to discourage them. Were people to capitulate to failure on their journey of becoming successful, they would never be close to any exalted positions.
In conclusion, the situation that people fail at school but end up with their mirror images in life can be ascribable to the inability to acclimatise themselves with the academic settings and the inborn adaptation to real life. I would reaffirm that determination and self-reliance are the two must-possess virtues to succeed in life.
