Question

The process below illustrates how fertiliser (compost) are recycled from organic waste.

It has 5 steps to recycle organic waste. The last product of the diagram is fertiliser, which is kind of compost.

The first, we need a plastic container which can contain 2m^3 of air. Then, there are some materials put into this bottle. Food is entered first and grass , newspaper are after. The last, waste is inserted. Each factor takes a height of 15 centimeters.

On the next step , they mix that mixture with nitrogen and hot water . All of them combine with each other in the bottle . After that , the bottle is heat . The top of container is bundled up by paper or fabric . It must make sure that no hole appears on the container. Finally , we have compost after 6 months . It is the product we have at the end of product. The fertilise can be used for garden and field.

Overall, there are five major steps and the entire process takes six months. It converts unused or discarded food and trimmings from the garden into a useful substance for growing plants.

The first step is to acquire large clean plastic containers of a size of about two cubic meters. The containers must be perforated on the sides to allow air circulation and heat to escape. The second step is to fill the container. It starts with quantities of food waste and trimmings from the garden such as grass. These are layered in the container; each layer should be about 15 cm deep. On top of these two layers, sheets of newspaper are placed. In the last preparatory step, nitrogen is sprinkled over the contents and hot water poured in for moisture. The container is then capped tightly.

The fourth step is waiting for the natural process of decomposition to proceed. This creates quite a bit of heat which is carried by air flow through the perforations. Finally, after about six months, the contents are completely converted into compost, which is ready to use. The final step is to spread the compost as needed in the garden.
