Please review my IELTS Essay

Topic: Some organisations believe that their employees should dress smartly. Others value quality of work above appearance. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

Essay:

There is a widely-held view among companies whether employees’ appearances should take precedence over their performance at work. Although there are beneficial rationales for workers to dress genuinely, I am of the opinion that their working efficiencies are far more priority.

On the one hand, it is no doubt true that staff represent a public image of the company they work for. This means that corporations can be judged on their professionalism as well as their respect for customers through their staff members, which is an essential/ crucial feature leading to comprehensive success in the future. For instance, in some corporations that require exceptional cleanliness and sanitary condition like hospitals, it is surely unacceptable if doctors wear the same clothes that they wear to clubs in lieu of freshly laundered scrubs when taking part in surgeries.

However, the clothing that a firm’s staff dress is by no means the only factor that matters to the growth of the company. Further and more importantly, employees’ work quality acts as a stimulus to establish the firm’s expansion. Recent research indicated that creative companies in the field of marketing facilitating their workers to dress comfortably experience more efficient performance in work than those who set strict regulations on office clothes. Therefore, it would seem that the choice of outfit might have a direct correlation to how staff performs at work.

Conclusively, it appears that appearance is favored for its represent whether the company is worth-trusting while, however, the performance of the duty is considered most crucial. In my stance, employees should be encouraged to dress properly as well as focus on their efficacy spontaneously.
