Please review my IELTS essay

Topic: An American film actor one said: "Tomorrow is important and precious". Some people think individuals and society should pay more attention to the future than the present. Do you agree or disagree?

Living with the present is a gift and it is more precious than anything else. Many billionaires always advise the younger generation that let’s live at present, do not mind about the future. Therefore, I completely disagree with the idea that people should focus more on the future than the present.

The first reason why the future is not worth more than the present is that all of us are living at present. We cannot know “how long we live” or “what is the future like?”. We should pay attention to what we did today or what made us feel happy. The future is so far, it is like a pipe dream which we can catch up with so let’s enjoy the happiness with our family, friends and especially, the present. Many philosophers said that: “accepting the present ourselves is a precious gift , do not care about the future because living well today is living better tomorrow.”

The second reason is the future is just the goal or the target for the present which has to be effort to gain. For example, your dream’s job is an actor who is popular and everyone knows who you are. You, therefore, need to determine your goal as a famous actor, then you should make a planner: things you should do daily, weekly, monthly and yearly; the skills to which you want and how do you do? We always remember that the future is a destination , not a result, so we have to try everyday, every hour in order to approach it. By preparing all of the supportive things, skills, emotions at the present, the future is good as well.

In conclusion, not only the future but also the present is important and plays a crucial role in our life. However, we just see the future is a motivation to motivate us to do well at present, so the present is what we need to spend our whole life to serve.
