There are many different types of music in the world today. Why do we need music? Is the traditional music of a country more important than international music that is heard everywhere?

Undoubtedly, in this contemporary aeon, we are blessed with rich variety of music which not only relax us but also ignites our creativity and imagination. It is rightly said that music is a food of soul. Due to technological evolution today, world has become global village, which enables music to spread around the world;however, I postulate that regional music of the nation has more significance role to pass on cultural heritage to progeny as well as to maintain unique identity.

To embark upon, while glancing on pivotal role plays by music in our life. In this competitive era where human being get tired of everyday’s hustle, cacophony of vehicles and professional workload music is a medium to get tranquility of mind. One can listen to his favourite genre of music and get involved with tunes and lyrics. By this way , person can let go of whole days steam. Moreover, music is inevitable part of festivals, occasions and traditional ceremony. Imagine, instead of vibrant music, profound silence at marriage function. Whole, charm and zeal deprive without music. Hence, to sooth one’s mind to express emotions and to stimulate soul music is crucial factor.

Yet, another controversy provoked from digital upgradation is which type of music is more important, whether international or traditional. Although, among youth inclination and fascination towards global music is seen, classical one is more essential. Many folk songs, spiritual books are converted in form of music.If person does not listen to it then he cannot pass these treasure to heirloom which wreck havoc of being lost on ancient tradition.

Thus, to recapitulate this essay our whole existence evolve around music.Despite of, luring over international music, one should appreciate and applaud local music to stay connected with culture.
